Thanks for the Tag Tim!

I've been tagged to answer this One Book Meme

1. One book that changed your life: Dracula by Bram Stoker, not because I realized my true calling as a vampire, but because it made me actually want to read. I read it for a school book report, and it was the first one I actually liked reading.

2. One book that you've read more than once: The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis, His whity narration, gives the whole chronicles a humor that fits my personality, and the way the story flows actually takes you to another world.

3. One book you'd want on a desert island: I could be really funny and put "Boat Building for Dummies." Instead I would say I would want probably Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix by J. K. Rowling, it is the longest of the Potter books so it would take the longest to read. Plus it has a lot of plot twists and general information that makes it a good read.

4. One book that made you laugh: Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, because I was amazed that someone who was high could write something that's so good.

5. One book that made you cry: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling, if you don't know why you have not read it. Oo I am cheating and putting 2 To Kill A mocking Bird by Harper Lee, slow in the middle, but when it picks up it is really good!

6. One book you wish had been written: Dangerous Awkward Natural: The Unauthorized Biography of Dan Barker

7. One book you wish had never been written: The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne, not because it was such a bad book, but because I had to write a 6-8 page research paper on the symbolism of Pearl. That's 6 months of my life i'd like back!

8. One book you're currently reading:Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman(not a "How to"), The Oz Chronicles: Ozma of Oz by L. Frank Baum(3rd in the series, I already heard the audio version), The Time Machine by H. G. Wells(I'm on page 80 or so I have been for 4 months, The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien(ya somewhere around page 230 I got so sick of this stupid book, oh ya that was a year ago), and The Wind in The Willows by Kenneth Grahame(I gave up on this one, but oddly I was enjoying it at the time). Oh wait did it say one?

9. One book you've been meaning to read: The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, I had a teacher recommend it to me, and I have heard good things!

10. Tag 5 others:Rachel, Jamie, Jamie, Amanda, and Julie

Dan,

Nice list. I especially like boat building for dummies. It is alwasy cool to see your fiction love grow. It is like you are my exact opposite (sorry no Patty Duke possibilities for us). Thanks for doing the survey.
